Spring 2012

Im a little behind on my blog, but here is run down of everything that has been going on for the last couple of months.

Carter’s Farewell

I knew this day was going to come but it still doesn’t make it any easier.

The brothers are finally broken up.

Carter left for his mission.

Missions are the greatest things in the world.

There is no better way to spend our time then spreading the news of our Savior.

But it still does not make it easy to watch them leave.

2 years just seems so long when they start out.

But I know the people of Florida will LOVE Carter and he will make a huge impact there.

I am just so grateful for all my brother and sister in-laws.

I married into such an amazing family and I am so glad that I will be able to watch them grow up.

The good news is we get Madison back from her mission in just a month.
I cant even believe it!!!

I cant wait for her to come home.

St. Patrick’s Day

My family loves celebrating holidays.

And St. Pattys day is one of my favorite.

I don’t know if it’s the fact that I have red hair, my Grandpa was Irish, or I get to wear my favorite color green all day, that makes me love this Day so much.

This year my Aunt Ginger was gracious enough to invite us to the Country club to have a traditional Irish dinner with her.

It was fun to visit and the food was great.

Hospital Run

It’s my families Spring Break this week.

So my mom and the kids left Sunday night to head to NYC to visit Ryan.

My Dad was heading out the next night so that he could work on Monday.

But he never made it to that flight.

On Sunday night at 2 in the morning he wakes me up and says that he feels weird and that is heart is racing.

I took his pulse for 15 minutes to see if he just had SVT. But the pulses stayed irregular.

My Dad wanted me to take him down to his office to do an EKG on him.

So I woke Dust up and tell him that he was to come with us.

While I was driving to his office, I made an excutive decision and headed to the hospital.

He ended up being in A-FIB.

It took him two days to convert back to sinus rhythm.

So Dust and I cleared our schedule and took care of my Dad for the next few days.

I am just so grateful that he was okay and is home back to his old schedule now.

Easter

I love Easter.

I love Spring.

I love thinking about the Savior and the sacrifice he made for all of us.

I love spending time with my family.

I love the Easter Egg hunt, the piƱata full of money, the games, and the food.

I am so grateful for this wonderful time of year.
