Brady's Farewell

I cant even believe it.
My little Brady is on a mission.
Missions are amazing!
But just because they are amazing and they're what we should be doing
doesnt make it any easier to say good bye.

Poor Brady has been waiting a long time to go on his mission.
The second he was done with high school,
he could not wait to get out there and serve the Lord.
But his call made him wait a little longer then he would have liked.

I am not going to lie,
I wasnt sad about it.
I was so happy that we got more time with this kid!
Brady is the funnest most entertaining kid ever.
I am so glad that I got to know him so well when we lived in Provo.
He is going to make an amazing missionary.

Getting to Brady's farewell turned out to be a little challenging.
Dust had a HUGE paper due Saturday night at 9.
So he could not leave until the paper was done.
So I ended up driving up on Saturday,
Dust flew up on Sunday morning
and then we drove back Sunday afternoon,
to get to school and the clinic by Monday morning.
Dust was there for a total of like 7 hours.
It was crazy.

But it was worth it.
Dad gave an update on Carter.
Brady gave the most amazing talk ever.
Gacy Jane spoke
And Grandpa Call spoke.
It was the best meeting of all time.

I am so glad that we made it up there to wish out little brother farewell.

Valentines and St. Patrick's Day

Valentines Day/ Ryan's Birthday

This year for Valentines Day, we decided to spend it with family.
Ryan was in town from New York auditioning for his PHD at UNLV.
I feel like we never get to see him anymore.
I hate that he lives so far away, and cant wait for him to move back to the West Coast
It was also his birthday on the 18th,
and he was headed back to New York on the Red Eye Valentines night.
So we decided to do a little family dinner together at our favorite place....Flemmings.
I am not a huge steak fan but I LOVE Flemmings.
Their Filet Oscar is out of this world!!!
It was a blast being able to celebrate Ryan's birthday with the family
and eating some amazing food.

St. Patrick's Day

I know I say this every year, but I love St. Patty's day.
It is seriously one of my favorite holidays.
I love all the green, the leprachons, the shamrocks, and candy.
It reminds me of my little Irish Grandpa who passed away a few years ago.
I love thinking about him, and our rich family heritage.

This year we had a special treat.

My Aunt Ginger invited us to eat with her at the Las Vegas Country Club.
They prepared a traditional Irish dinner that was to die for.
I loved all of the cabbage, stew, potoates, and good Irish desserts.

We were also lucky enough to sit by a party that was real in to the holiday.
They invited us to sing Irish tunes with them.
At first Dust and I could not stop laughing, but it actually turned out to be really fun.

Tauna's Wedding

I had been looking forward to this wedding for months!!!
Ever since Tauna asked the Sensational Seven to all be her bridesmaids
I couldnt wait.
The Seven of us have not All been together for 4 years.
I was so excited just to see everyone and celebrate this special day with Tauna.
Tauna is the last of us to get married.
It was so fun having all of us in the temple together.
It makes me so incredibly happy that all seven of us got married in the temple to amazing guys.
I love everyone's spouses and I am so glad that all my girls are so happy.
Tauna's wedding was magical.
She was surrounded by so much family.
It was so fun seeing all of her siblings and family all there together.
I love the Garvin family and look up to them so much.
They are the most incredible people, and I hope my family can be like them someday.
Tauna and Isaac, I love you guys and I am so happy that you found eachother.

Easter 2013

This Easter has to be my favorite Easter of all time.
First of all Dustin was on Spring Break the week before.
With Dustin in Law School, any time that he has off I treasure.
Even though he was still busy with studying, he wasnt as stressed as usual.
It was fun being able to come home from the clinic everyday and being able to just chill with him.
And since he did have a little break, his parents and little sister's decided to come down.
I love when the Calls come down.
It is always a blast with them.
We had so much fun staying up late talking and of course eating.
The two things that we do best.
His parents were also so great because they helped us with stuff around the house.
I have had a couple of things on my to do list for the last 6 months and they helped us finish those.
I love the Calls and feel so blessed that I am in their family.
The Saturday before Easter is our annual Whipple Easter Party.
One of my favorite events of the year.
This year it was held at my parents house.
The day was spent BBQing, swimming, watching march madnes, visiting, and of course doing a Easter egg hunt.
It was so fun hanging out with family, and I look to many more days like this.

I am so grateful for my Savior.
I am grateful that he came to this earth, that he atoned for all of our sins,
and that he rose on the third day.
I love that we celebrate the Savior's resurrection surrounded by family and friends.
He is the one that made it all possible so that we can
 live with our families forever.
